My name is Madre de Deus, I'm based in Lisbon, with a dual degree in Fine Arts + Fashion Design & Creation. After 7 inspiring years immersed in the world of luxury fashion & haute couture in Paris, I returned to Portugal drawn to something more grounded: clay.

Since 2023 I have been specializing in the potter's wheel, shaping pieces that reflect both my design background and love for Portugal's cultural heritage and craftmanship.

Valuing quality over quantity is on the forefront of my work ethics so I prioritise limited series or unique pieces with meaningful concepts and thought-out designs.
